Affiliate Account

Affiliates can login and view a list of all orders that have been credited to their account. Accounts are credited when an entire order has been shipped. If an order is associated with an affiliate but has not shipped (has a status of pending, cancelled, back ordered, mixed status, etc), then the order will not appear in the list.

The listing details when the order was placed, when the order was credited to the affiliate, the subtotal of the order, and the affiliate payout for the order.

Affiliates can be used for other purposes besides a traditional affiliate program. Basically any situation where the tracking of individual links is necessary is a good candidate for an affiliate. Examples are tracking the success of banner ad campaigns, internal link tracking to determine what type of copy and link placement in non-store areas of the Web site successfully result in sales, newsletter and email response tracking, and market tests.
