Content Pages
It figures that one of the most exciting aspects of HostedStore has
so little text touting its benefits. But there is not much to write.
Simply put, all of the content pages for HostedStore are format files
(files that contain HTML and code) that can be modified by the developer.
HostedStore does not use cumbersome and restrictive browser based
configuration of headers, footers, etc. Just plain HTML and code.
Want to move a piece of content on one of the pages to a different place
on the screen? Modify the appropriate HTML or style sheet. Want to
display a piece of text in a different size font? Simply modify the
appropriate HTML. Want to display an additional piece of data from a
database? Place the necessary code in the appropriate file.
By using modifiable content pages, HostedStore offers the developer
complete control over the store content and presentation. Creativity is
not stifled by imposed cookie cutter constraints.
